ORDINANCE NO. 26-4651
The public welfare requiring it, under authority of Section 24-2-2 of the 1975 Code of Alabama, and it further being hereby declared that the property herein described is no longer needed for public purposes, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Decatur, in the State of Alabama, as follows:
Section 1. That Kent Lawrence, Mayor, City of Decatur, Alabama, is hereby authorized and directed to issue a deed to John T Moore for the purchase price of $3,500, which the Council finds to be a reasonable and fair price, to the following property situated, lying and being in the City of Decatur, County of Morgan and State of Alabama, to-wit:
SUB DLI&F CO #2 LOT 7 BLK 26 PB 1 PG 13
MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS:
408 7th Ave SW
Section 2. That Kent Lawrence, Mayor, City of Decatur, Alabama, is hereby authorized and directed to execute all other such documents as may be required to affect this transaction.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its adoption.
