AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF FLORENCE, ALABAMA, AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY APPENDIX C OF SAID CODE, AND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
The Public Welfare Requiring It and under the authority granted by Title 11, Section 11-52-78 of the 1975 Code of Alabama, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Florence, Alabama, as follows, to-wit:
The Code of Florence, Alabama, as amended, and particularly Appendix C, and the Florence, Alabama, Official Zoning Map as a part thereof is hereby amended, changed and modified to reflect the rezoning of property as follows:
Property is 5.64 +/- acres located at 611 Whitetail Lane, described as follows,
A tract of land lying in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30, Township 2 South, Range 10 West, Lauderdale County, Alabama, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGIN at the Southeast corner of Lot 45 of Hunters Ridge Phase II, as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 380 in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Lauderdale County, Alabama; thence South 01°23’32” West a distance of 411.64 feet to a point lying on the centerline of Lauderdale County Road #46 (prescriptive right of way width); thence along said centerline, North 88°44’53” West a distance of 686.57 feet to a point lying on the intersection of said centerline of Lauderdale County Road #46 and the centerline of Hunters Way (80-foot right of way width); thence leaving said centerline of Lauderdale County Road #46 and along said centerline of Hunters Way, North 01°03’49” East a distance of 409.15 feet to a point; thence leaving said centerline of Hunters Way, South 88°57’18” East a distance of 688.93 feet to the point of beginning.
Said tract of land contains an area of 6.48 Acres, more or less, and is subject to any rights of way, easements, or restrictions affecting said tract.
Said to be rezoned from B-2 (General Business) to R-2 (Single Family Residential Small Lots) as
requested by Colby Gilchrist.
The boundary changes of the above district are hereby established as shown on the Official Zoning Map, made a part of Appendix C of said Code as amended, and as further amended by this ordinance, which map is displayed in the City Planning Department, City Hall, as well as being a part of said Code and all explanatory matter thereon as adopted and made a part of this ordinance.
