CHIEF MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR/FACILITIES MANAGER
The Lawrence County Commission is accepting applications until July 10, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. for the position of Chief Maintenance Supervisor/Facilities Manager.
The Chief Maintenance Supervisor/Facilities Manager oversees the operation, maintenance, repair and appearance of all Lawrence County Commission owned buildings, facilities, grounds, and related infrastructure. This position supervises maintenance staff, coordinates contractors, and vendors, manages preventative maintenance programs, and ensures county facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards. Have a valid Alabama Driver’s License. Any combination of education and/or experience (10 years preferred). In-depth knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems. Certifications in HVAC servicing and maintenance preferred.
Ability to perform basic electrical repairs and wiring, plumbing, roof repairs, and basic construction and renovation tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent. Salary of $80,
000.00 per year. Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Full-time position with full benefits.
