Assistant / Event Coordinator
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Scheduling advertising insertions
• Assisting with training staff on computer ticket entry
• Interacting with customers and other departments on a regular basis
• Assisting management with scheduling special sections
• Filing daily newspapers
• Answering phone calls and emails
• Helping service all walk-ins
• Event Coordinator, plans, organizes and oversees all aspects of an event to ensure it runs smoothly and meets objectives, from initial planning to execution and breakdown.
• Completing various other administrative duties
The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, has strong attention to detail, and Must be able to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and keep information strictly confidential.
We are looking for someone with a desire to go the extra mile.
This position requires a high school degree or equivalent, administrative assistant
experience, and proficiency with computers, phones, and office equipment.
The job will require availability Monday – Friday and is
37.5 hours a week plus commission.
