You are hereby notified that on the 21st of April 2025, an Amended Complaint for the Wrongful Death of Willard Norton was filed in the Circuit Court of Lawrence County, Alabama, and the following are the names of all parties to the action:
Whitney Bennett and Jackie Norton Administratiors of the estate of Willard Norton (Plaintiffs);
Melissa Nix (Defendant);
Jonathan Lynn Nix Sr. (Defendant); and
Bridget L. Lamons (Defendant).
Bridget L. Lamons whereabouts are unknown and cannot be ascertained after the exercise of due diligence. Bridget L. Lamons is believed to have legal responsibility related to wrongful death of Willard Norton as described above.
Bridget L. Lamons has been listed as a Defendant with legal responsibility for the wrongful death of Willard Norton and is therefore directed to plead, Answer or otherwise respond to the Plaintiffs’ Amended Complaint, which was filed on April 21, 2025. Plaintiffs claim negligence and wrongful death and claims all damages including compensatory and punitive damages against Defendants in the above referenced matter. Bridget L. Lamons Answer to said Complaint is due by September 13, 2025 after the last publication of this notice. Thereafter, Bridget L. Lamons will suffer judgment by default to be rendered against her as it is intended that this notice shall be used to perfect service against Bridget L. Lamons who cannot be personally served with a copy of the Amended Complaint.
