The Circuit Court of Lawrence County, Alabama has Ordered in Case
CV-2024-900164.00 that the following described property be sold by the Clerk at public auction in front of the Courthouse, Moulton, Alabama.
The property to be sold is described as follows:
The N ½ of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ Section 23, Township 6 South, Range 6 West Lawrence County, Alabama.
LESS AND EXCEPT: Tracts A, B and C
Tract A
All of that portion of the N ½ of the SE ¼ of NE ¼ of Section 23, Township 6 South, Range 6 West, lying East of County Road 327, containing ten acres, more or less, and being a part of the property as owned by Raymond Joseph Mackey, Jr., who is deceased.
Tract B
ALSO, a one acre tract of land described as follows, to-wit: Begin at the northwest corner of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 23, Township 6 South, Range 6 West; thence easterly along said north boundary of said SE ¼ of NE ¼, 210 feet; thence southerly parallel with the west boundary of said SE ¼ of NE ¼, 210 feet to a point; thence westerly 210 feet, more or less, to the western boundary of said SE ¼ of NE ¼ ; thence northerly along said western boundary 210 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
Tract C
ALSO, a non-exclusive right of way easement to said property described as beginning at a point on the north boundary of said SE ¼ of NE ¼ , 210 feet east of said northwest corner thereof; thence easterly 75 feet, more or less to the western boundary of County Road 327; thence southeasterly along said western right of way line of County Road 327 35 feet, more or less; thence westerly 100 feet, more or less to a point 210 feet east of the western boundary of said SE ¼ of NE ¼ of Section 23 as aforesaid; thence northerly 30 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
Terms of the Sale are 10% down the day of the sale and the balance paid to the Clerk within sixty (60) days.
The Sale should take place on the 29th day of May, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Market Street entrance door of the Lawrence County, Alabama Courthouse. Title will be conveyed by Clerk’s deed upon confirmation of the sale and receipt of sales price.
