NOTICE OF SALE
Under and by virtue of a Judgment in the above-styled cause rendered by the Honorable Callie C. Waldrep, Circuit Judge, on the 6th day of November, 2024, I SANDRA LIGON, Clerk of the Circuit Court, shall offer for sale on, the 12th day of December, 2024 at 12 Noon, proceed to sell at public auction the following described real estate on the front steps of the Lawrence County Courthouse at Moulton, Alabama for cash to the best, highest and last bidder:
Tract 1:
All that part of the NW 1/4 of Section 22, Township 5 South, Range 6 West, Lawrence County, Alabama particularly described as beginning at a point which is located North 87°46’30” East 214.71 feet and South 2°13’30” East 640.0 feet from the NW corner of said Section 22; thence from the place of beginning and along the East margin of a 30.0 foot right of way South 2°13’30” East 200.00 feet; thence North 87°46’30” East 185.0 feet; thence North 2°13’30” West 200.0 feet; thence South 87°46’30” West 185.0 feet to the place of beginning, and containing 0.85 acre, more or less.
Tract 2:
All that part of the NW 1/4 of Section 22, Township 5 South, Range 6 West, Lawrence County, Alabama, particularly described as beginning at a point on the South margin of Sheats Chapel Road, said place of beginning being located South 2°38’44” West 40.0 feet and North 87°46’30” East 214.71 feet from the NW corner of said Section 22; thence from the place of beginning South 2°13’30” East along the East margin of a 30 feet right of way 200.0 feet; thence North 87°46’30” East 185.0 feet; thence North 2°13’30” West 200.0 feet to a point on the South margin of Sheats chapel Road; thence South 87°46’30” West along the South margin of said Sheats Chapel Road 185.0 feet to the place of beginning and containing 0.85 acre, more or less. There is also conveyed herewith the right to the joint use of a right of way 30 feet in width described as follows, to wit: Commence at the NW corner of Section 22, Township 5 South, Range 6 West, Lawrence County, Alabama, and run thence South 2°38’44” West 40 feet to a point on the South margin of Sheats Chapel Public Road; thence North 87°46’30” East 214.71 feet to a point which is the true point of beginning. From said true point of beginning run thence South 2°13’30” East 1250 feet to a point; thence South 87°46’30” West 30 feet to a point; thence North 2°13’30” West 1250 feet to a point on the South margin of the Sheats Chapel Public Road; thence North 87°46’30” East along the South Margin of the Sheats Chapel Public Road to the true point of beginning. Said property being a part of the same property as conveyed to the grantors herein by deed dated the 20th day of October, 1978 and found of record in Deed Book 104, page 929 of the Probate Records of Lawrence County, Alabama.
