Project Description: Demolition and Construction of roofs on 8 dugouts for 4 ball fields at Veterans Park. Sealed bids for the project will be received by the Lawrence County Commission until Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Sealed bids may be hand delivered to Lawrence County Road Department located at 160 Parker Road, Moulton, AL 35650 or mailed to Lawrence County Road Department at P.O. Box 275, Moulton, AL 35650. ALL submitted bids must be in a sealed envelope with vendor name on envelope and clearly marked with the following: “SEALED BID PROPOSAL ON VETERANS PARK FENCE REPLACEMENT - DO NOT OPEN UNTIL JULY 31, 2025 AT 10:00 A.M.” Any bids emailed or faxed will be rejected. Bids will be received by the Commission until Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. All submitted bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lawrence County Road Department at 160 Parker Road, Moulton, AL 35650. Each bidder must provide with the bid a bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Bid Package. Each Bidder shall provide a copy of their General Contractors License in accordance with Ala Code Title 34-8-8. Each bidder must provide their E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding to verify compliance in accordance with Section 9 of Act 2011-535.
