Moon Shot Amusement Ride Repainting
The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks proposals from qualified firms for the repainting of the 150’ Tall Moon-Shot Amusement Ride and its supporting infrastructure located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, 1 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805
All potential bidders may request via email a copy of all project drawings and additional specifications related to this bid. Drawings and Specifications may also be examined at the office of the Director of Procurement, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805
A recommended Prebid meeting being held on Tuesday 12/17/24 at 2:00PM CST in the Main Lobby of the ETF Bldg. located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, 1 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805
Bids must be submitted on DCM C-3 Bid Proposal forms. Additional documentation includes Detailed Bid Summary on Vendor Letterhead, Certificate of Insurance, E-Verify, Al Vendor Disclosure statement, AL Business License, and Vendor W9 form. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current Alabama business license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
Sealed proposals will be received by the Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission d/b/a U.S. Space and Rocket Center at the office of Sam Mitchell, Director of Procurement, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, at the ETF Building 1st Floor, Room #109, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805 until Thursday 01/09/25 at 2:00 pm CST. At which time and place, each seal bid will be publicly opened and read into the record.
You may also submit your seal bid prior to public bid opening to the Director of Procurement, for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, by coming in person to the Administration Entrance located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805. You may also mail your seal bid using a reliable & trackable delivery method to the street address listed and by the time and due date shown.
